The Mekong Delta region in Vietnam is famous for it’s tropical weather, warm hospitality and fruits. The coconut is a representation of the people of this wonderful land: hardworking, strong, and resilient, but always willing to provide what is need.

Will, co-founder of Enigma Mansion in Ho Chi Minh City, was inspired to create his Mekong Delta Old Fashioned during a visit to local farms in southern Vietnam. His aim was to combine true southern Vietnamese flavor with a timeless classic, bringing the farm to the table through every sip of this cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Bourbon

  • 5ml Coconut Nectar

  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters

  • 2 dashes Chocolate Bitters

  • 1pc Fresh Slice of Orange

  • Toasted Coconut Flakes (garnish)

Method:

Add ingredients into a mixing glass and stir till chilled. Serve in a rocks glass over a large ice block. Garnish with an orange slice sprinkled with coconut flakes.
